Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of life, including taking part in rehearsals of shows. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999 to continue her acting. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. In Fredericton on April 10th the couple renewed their vows after her change of religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans her good announcement that she became pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase at a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the show's premiere. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4 of the show. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
