Sutton Foster, an actor, singer, and dancer She has performed in a total of eleven Broadway shows, including the most recent revived production Violet. She has also played lead roles in Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Young Frankenstein. Star Search, at the 15th birthday, was the first time she made an appearance on television. In the years since, Sutton has appeared on Bunheads and Psych. Solo artist Sutton has performed across the country. Sutton has appeared across the United States in addition to internationally along with the musical direction of Michael Rafter... with songs from her debut solo album "Wish" as well as her follow up CD "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Caf Carlyle." She has appeared on stage at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, the Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. Sutton Foster earned an honorary doctorate from Ball State University in 2011. She also serves part of the faculty of Ball State University as a adviser and teacher of dance. In March of 2015, she stars in TVLand's brand new show "Younger" created by Darren Star.
